Blank map of Brazilian states
The outline, free as a PNG, SVG or PDF. Label it, colour it in or drop it into a slide.

Using a blank map of Brazilian states
Presenters who show where a business, a survey or a team sits across Brazil need the states on a slide without names getting in the way. With borders draws the 26 states and the Federal District, and this page puts it first. Outline only is the shape of the country with no lines inside. Each version is a PNG with a transparent background, an SVG and a PDF.
A map behind the figures
On a results slide, place the PNG at one side and write three or four figures beside it, then add your own labels for São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. The transparent background lets the slide's colour show through, so the map takes on the look of the deck without any editing. A one-colour tint on the shapes would stay quiet behind the numbers.
Maps for a report or a poster
For a regional report, fill the states a section covers, say Goiás, Ceará and Piauí, and keep the others pale, then repeat the file for the next section with a different set. A poster can use the same shapes at a larger size in the SVG, in the colours of a campaign. Outline only gives one large shape for a title page or a sticker. The list further down the page gives the spelling of every state.
Which one for which job
The political blank map of Brazilian states is With borders; Outline only is the silhouette, also on the blank map of Brazil page. Take the SVG when the map needs to go larger or be restyled in a design tool, and the PDF when it is going to a printer on A4 or Letter. To add names or colour, Customise this map opens the editor; for ink and paper choices, use the printable map of Brazilian states.

Questions people ask
Is there a political blank map of Brazilian states?
Yes. The With borders version is the political blank map: it draws the 26 states and the Federal District as separate shapes, with no names, ready for labelling or colouring.
How many states does the blank map show?
The With borders version shows 26 states and the Federal District. The list further down this page names each one, so it works as the answer key for a quiz.
Can I open the SVG in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma?
Yes. The SVG is a vector file that opens in all three. You can restyle the state lines, change their weight or scale the map up without blurring, which suits an infographic or a report cover.
Can I colour the map in before I download it?
Not on this page, which gives you the outline as it is. For colour, choose Customise this map to open the editor, or use the bar on the map on the printable page.
