Blank map of Zimbabwe
The outline, free as a PNG, SVG or PDF. Label it, colour it in or drop it into a slide.

Using a blank map of Zimbabwe
This page is for anyone who wants Zimbabwe as a file: a teacher with a worksheet to build, a student with a poster, a designer who needs a shape to work from. There are two versions, Outline only and With borders, which adds the lines between the 10 administrative areas. Each is offered as a PNG with a transparent background, an SVG and a PDF.
Numbered areas in a document
Use With borders and add numbers in your own document, then give each number a line in a table beside the map, for instance Mashonaland West, Masvingo and Manicaland. The list of areas lower on this page gives the spellings. For a plain cover, use Outline only with the country's name across it.
Trace it, style it, cut it
Open the SVG in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma and change what you like. Give each area a colour from a brand palette, thicken the line, or remove the inner lines for a single shape that suits a logo sketch or a classroom display. The vector lines stay sharp at poster size. A slide designer can export the shape in a colour that matches the deck.
Choosing between the versions
Take Outline only whenever the lines inside would distract: a title slide, a badge, a map for the youngest children. With borders is the political blank map, the one to use when areas matter. The PDF is for paper on A4 or Letter, and the PNG for documents and slides. For print choices such as black and white, go to the printable map of Zimbabwe.
When you need names, colours or pins on the map itself, Customise this map opens the same outline in the editor.

Questions people ask
Is there a political blank map of Zimbabwe?
Yes, it is the With borders version. It draws the lines between the 10 administrative areas with no names, which makes it the political blank map to label from the list further down this page.
Does the PNG have a transparent background?
Yes. The PNG of Zimbabwe has a transparent background, so it takes the colour of whatever sits behind it on a slide, a worksheet or a poster, and only the lines and the shape show.
Is there an answer key for a labelling quiz?
The list of administrative areas on this page is the key. It runs from Bulawayo to Midlands, so after pupils label a numbered copy you can check each answer against it.
Can I colour the map in before I download it?
Not on this page, which offers the outline as drawn. Choose Customise this map to colour the areas, add names and download from the editor, or use the editable map of Zimbabwe.
